Accelerated Reader (AR), the Accelerated Reader program is a computerized program that tests reading comprehension. Students select books on their reading level, read the book independently or with a parent, and take a comprehension test on the computer. 

AR's advanced technology helps you:

• Assess students' through Reading Practice quizzes. 
• Build a lifelong love of reading and learning.

How It Works:

1. Students choose books at their appropriate reading levels and read them at their own pace. 
2. Student takes a quiz. 
3. Student and teacher get immediate feedback on their reading progress.
